Born 27th November 1962 at John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford to Carmen Maria and Peter Linzey, a draughtsman in the RAF.
Helen was soon joined by two brothers Michael and Joseph and after leaving the RAF the family settled in Oxford.
Between 1967 and 1978 Helen attended Hinksey Church of England and Kennington Primary, Headington Middle and Cheney Comprehensive schools.
After completing her early education Helen worked in fashion retail and Pergamon press in Oxford and after spending 6 months touring Europe by train, including an extended stay with relatives in Malta, Helen returned to the UK and moved to London in 1987.
She lived with her uncle Vince in Barnet and found employment managing a fashion concession in London’s Army and Navy and Debenhams stores.
In 1987 she met her husband Tony and in 1990 they had a Daughter who they named Naomi Italia. Helen and Tony married in 1993 and the family settled in Walthamstow, London.
In 1992 whilst working for the department of work and pensions Helen started evening Art classes and soon progressed to A levels before completing a BA honours in Fine Art in 2004.
She exhibited and sold her oil paintings in the UK and internationally also winning several prizes and receiving commendations for her art work.
Helen lived life to the full and had many passions including her family, art, cooking, travel and socialising, she was a fun loving person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Helen passed on the 20th April 2017 and is succeeded by her Daughter Naomi and Grandson (Ezekiel) Zeke and Husband Tony.
